Located on Victoria's Great Ocean Road, RACV Torquay Resort is set on an expansive golf course with spectacular ocean views. The resort boasts state of the art conferencing & events facilities, a trio of dining options and various amenities for guests to enjoy. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Chef De Partie to join our team.

 

A day in the life

You will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade. So, we’re looking for someone who can oversee a section independently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help to set the standards by displaying a passion for hospitality and cuisine and the motivation to deliver an exceptional food experience to our guests. You’ll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands. The role will allow you to work across our flagship restaurant, Number One as well as banquets and room service.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

 We’re looking for:

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery 
• The ability to work across a rotating roster 
• A passion for locally sourced and seasonal produce 
• A desire to develop among a driven & professional team
 • Ability to work autonomously on a section or within a fast-paced team
 • Exposure to stock-taking, wastage control, menu development and costings
