Chef de Partie - The International

JOB DESCRIPTION

The International spans across 3 floors, with 3 separate kitchens, each offering a unique and appealing menu. Located in Martin Place, this iconic venue offers you plenty of opportunity to grow and expand your skills and expertise as a chef. 

As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will collaborate with our Head and Sous Chef in consistently delivering high-quality food. You will uphold the highest standards of food preparation, staying updated on new products, recipes, and techniques. 

You will also gain further development from mentoring and interaction with our culinary executives; Joel Bickford and Danny Corbett. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
You are a dedicated chef who is keen to expand your experience in fine dining, and play an active role in the overall guest experience. You will relish the opportunity to work closely with the Head Chef and team, contributing to dishes and consistently delivering exceptional dishes.

Ideally you will have previous experience handling purchase orders, managing and training any Commis Chefs, setting rosters, delegating jobs and monitoring all kitchen and food safety standards.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVES:

  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Experience working in hatted kitchen is essential.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in dining restaurants.
  • Formal cooking qualification (minimum certificate 3 in commercial cookery).
  • A great attitude with a true passion for cooking.
