JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop your hospitality skills and embrace a unique environment as a Chef at RAAF Base Richmond (Hawkesbury). The role is suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality, flavour, and presentation. You’ll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.

The Position:

  • Full time, part time and casual positions
  • Collaborate with your team to prepare high quality buffet style bulk cooking for a variety of service times including breakfast, lunch or dinner, desserts, and functions
  • Maintain all catering controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction
  • Support kitchen efficiency with goods receiving stores and cold room controls
  • Drive exceptional service when interacting with our customers

The Person:

  • Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery and experience with bulk cooking
  • Displayed experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Involvement in HACCP, allergen management and food safety
  • Passion for quality, fantastic presentation, and detail focused
  • Plan for success individually and to meet organisational goals
