About Us: The Zushi Restaurant Group is looking for experienced chefs and cooks to join both our Zushi Surry Hills team and our brand new iconic waterfront venue at Zushi Barangaroo. Established in 2005, we've been operating for over 20 years and continue to grow. Zushi offers a casual, modern Japanese dining experience using the freshest and most sustainable produce wherever possible.

Your duties:
Preparing mis-en-place
Executing recipes under the supervision of our Head Chef
Maintaining a hygienic HACCP oriented kitchen, and adhering to OH&S regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Working cohesively in a team as well as autonomously when needed
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Japanese produce, techniques and traditions
Have a strong work ethic and a passion for the industry
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Certificates: Cookery course
Minimum experience: More than 6 months in a restaurant environment
Dress code: Zushi tshirt, chef apron, chef shoes
Interview required
Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
