Lotus Dining is hiring Chefs!

Lotus Dining has seven restaurants, open seven days for lunch and dinner service. This ensures a variety of hours and shifts are on offer for suitable candidates. We are looking for passionate and creative Chefs capable of helping us to produce contemporary Chinese dishes and deliver a refined dining experience.

The successful candidates will be responsible to ensure the highest possible standard in the following areas:

Service:

  • Financial control
  • Quality Control of Services
  • Staff, Recruitment, Training and Supervision
  • Repairs and Maintenance
  • Ordering, Stock Control, Compliance
  • Hygiene, Sanitation & Safety
  • Forward Planning
  • Management Meetings
  • Menu development

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Successful applicants must have:

  • Completed an apprenticeship or trade test
  • 2-3 years' kitchen experience within a fast paced or similar environment
  • Excitement about a challenging, fast paced high volume environment
  • High standard of food preparation and productivity
  • Experience with Asian cuisine - Chinese
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • High attention to detail
