JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for passionate, driven, talented Chefs & Cooks for a variety of our well known restaurant, cafe and kiosk venues, as well as within our Production kitchen at Melbourne Airport. We are on the look-out for committed kitchen staff across all levels to join our award winning Food & Beverage team to create exceptional customer experiences and memorable moments.

We have Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual availability, across Morning, Lunch and Evening shifts (with no split shifts).

Our Production Kitchen provides products for all of our Terminal 3 & 4 Venues - a great place to work as a chef!

Train with famous celebrity chefs - Shane Delia, Frank Camorra, the crew from ST ALi & Jiro Sushi!

Must be able to work between the hours of:

4am - 2pm

2pm - 10pm

  • Flexibility across both shift times is highly regarded! Must be available weekdays & weekends for a minimum of 4 shifts a week.
  • We will be mindful to put you on a rotating roster, so you have work/life balance!
  • Full-time/part-time hours available on a casual rate $$$

Airport Retail Enterprises is continuing to grow at a rapid rate, with our venues, cafes, bars and restaurants expanding in new locations across Melbourne Airport, as a result we require new team members to join our team today.

REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality food, in line with the standards required by Airport Retail Enterprises.
  • Contribute to kitchen revenue through effective adherence to recipe guidelines
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring no cross contamination
  • Maintain food safety plan procedures and duties
  • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
  • Comply with airport security, fire regulations, health & safety and food safety legislation
  • Be aware of targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
