CHEFS- Experienced Pastry Chefs, Sushi Chefs, Cooks - Immediate Start with sponsorship options - Barangaroo & Surry Hills Locations at Zushi Restaurant Group

Start: ASAP Where: Barangaroo, NSW Type: Full time Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 per year

JOB DESCRIPTION

What We Offer: We are eligible to sponsor. Chef positions from pastry chef to sushi chef possible. Full-time and part-time salaries with all the benefits including super (paid on time!) Flexible rostering with the possibility of a 3-4 day work week. Staff discounts at all venues across our group, as well as up to $230 in Zushi dining vouchers in your first year with us. All chefs will also be provided with uniforms.

About Us: The Zushi Restaurant Group is looking for experienced pastry chefs, sushi chefs and cooks to join both our Zushi Surry Hills team and our iconic waterfront venue at Zushi Barangaroo. Established in 2005, we've been operating for over 20 years and continue to grow.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Your duties:

  • Preparing mis-en-place

  • Executing recipes under the supervision of our senior chefs

  • Maintaining a hygienic HACCP oriented kitchen, and adhering to OH&S regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

  • Working cohesively in a team as well as autonomously when needed

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Japanese produce, techniques and traditions

  • Have a strong work ethic and a passion for the industry
