Free Range Chef are looking for Chefs

We currently have fantastic opportunities for experienced Chefs to join our team

Free Range Chef is a catering business that has been operating in Auckland for over 12 years.

 We have a large client base of corporate and private clients, plus we work with multiple venues throughout Auckland, so you will be required to work at events located at various venues throughout Auckland and surrounding areas

 We specialise in high quality catering service for large corporate and wedding functions, private dining events, office and yacht catering.

We pride ourselves on the quality and uniqueness of the foods we produce and are now looking for chefs to help with our busy summer season. Could also potentially lead to ongoing work

The successful applicants will ideally have catering experience, or experience with large numbers. As well as being comfortable in a private home setting.

You will be working with and supporting our head chef and sous chef.

Work hours will vary depending on what’s required – We don’t have a standard work week, so flexibility is key, you will be required to work until late, evenings and weekends

• Energetic and positive mindset
• Be cool under pressure (and ideally have a sense of humour too)
• Have high standards of cookery & food presentation skills.
• Have very high food safety & kitchen hygiene standards.
• Not be afraid of hard work!
• Be able to have fun & enjoy the rewards of managing a busy kitchen.
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Personable when talking with guests
• Well-articulated

You must hold a clean current NZ unrestricted drivers’ licence. You must be in New Zealand and hold a current working visa
