JOB DESCRIPTION

­­­­­­­­­­­­Marritz Hotel is a premium accommodation establishment offering the ultimate alpine experience with superb facilities, exceptional service and great hospitality, centrally located in Perisher Village. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLES

We are currently recruiting for the upcoming 2023 Snow Season. These roles will be rostered across the Hotel operation hours and allow for the smooth running of the Marritz Hotel kitchen and focus on guest satisfaction.

The Sous Chef role will work hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef across the Hotel operation hours and allow for the smooth running of the Hotel kitchen and focus on guest satisfaction.

We have 1 x Sous Chef, 1 x Chef and 2 x Cooks roles available. You will be provided with on-snow accommodation with flexible rosters to allow plenty of snow time.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

ABOUT YOU 

  • A love of food and a drive for excellence
  • A great attitude and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills & work ethic
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Creative flair and willingness to learn and teach
  • Ability to manage service in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Able to achieve daily goals and generate great Guest feedback
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent 
  • Prior experience in similar role preferred
