About Walrus Club:

In an underground den beneath Regatta Hotel, you will find a speakeasy bar for fine ladies and dapper gents.

The Walrus Club is known for its premium, speciality rum range. It proudly boasts over 100 blends and pays homage to the roaring 1920s Temperance Movement (Prohibition). In addition, a broad range of rare and unique spirits – more than three hundred mid-range to premium drops –have been stealthily sourced from places such as local distilleries, the very far corners of the globe, and everywhere in between as well as a decadent cocktail menu developed by our Cocktail Connoisseurs goes down a treat.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum two years experience in a similar venue
• Strong expertise in mixology/cocktail venue
• Exceptional food & beverage knowledge
• Superior time management & organisational skills
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships with suppliers
• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
• Ability to work nights & weekends
• Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
• Supporting the venue manager in the daily operations of running the Walrus club.
• Current RSA, RMLV & Approved Managers license
