JOB DESCRIPTION

The ArtHouse Hotel has been acquired by a new management team and undergoing a refresh throughout. Before reopening we are looking for a team to lead us into the future and beyond, as we try to reinvigorate our status as market leader in all things food, beverage and service. We are looking for an enthusiastic team of Bartenders and floor staff to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Resume and proven working experience in food and beverage FOH
  • Good knowledge craft beer, wine and cocktails
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • RSA and RCG
