Hi there,
Aquila on Eagle Street is looking for an experienced commis chef to join our kitchen team. Aquila is a longstanding Brisbane City venue, well known for high quality service and production. The right candidate needs to be passionate about their profession, be confindent in their own abilities and skills in the kitchen. The position is full time 40 hours per week, with potential to grow within the business Monday to Friday for breakfast & lunch shifts, NO WEEKENDS! Must be available for 6am starts.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
The successful candidate must be experienced in working in high quality and fast paced environments
Candidate must be passionate about what they do, must have high personal standards of work and be proud of what they produce on the daily
Candidate must work well in a team environment and individually when required, also be willing to assist with mentoring other staff & apprentices if required
Candidate must be willing to contribute fresh ideas and suggestions to the team
Candidate must have a Cert 3 or higher in Commercial Cookery or have 3+ years kitchen experience
