The Carindale Hotel are looking for an experienced Commis or CDP to join the team. 

You must have relevant experience and have worked in a busy fast-paced kitchen.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player with good communication skills who is comfortable being part of a busy kitchen brigade.

We are looking for an individual who is focused on meticulous food preparation and presentation coupled with the ability to produce quality and consistency. Ideally we are searching for those with suitable experience in similar kitchen environments.

Please ensure you are available across a 7 day roster working both days and nights.

The successful applicants will possess:

• Confidence in their cooking abilities
• Creativity and high presentation standard
• Ability to understand WHS and food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
• The ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills with an approachable manner
• Experience in working within a high-volume kitchens in a similar environment
• Strong motivation and creativity

Experience Required:

• We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role, has strong communication skills and enjoys new challenges.
• The ability to ensure consistency in food quality within a large team
• You believe stocktaking as a critical control point
