JOB DESCRIPTION

VATRA at Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre in Surfers Paradise is new iconic hospitality concept with Australian Modern Cuisine run by internationally and national award winning chefs . It has great location offering breakfast,lunch and dinner to it’s best. Our team is excellent example in service.

Both part-time or full time position available.
 

We are looking for a dedicated cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.
The cooks responsibilities include:

  • Following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders 
  • Organizing workstations
  • Assisting other cooks as needed
  • Ensure that the refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and tidy

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preparing awesome meals for our customers.
  • Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.
  • Steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
  • Checking food and ingredients for freshness.
  • Arranging and garnishing dishes.
  • Working well under pressure and within the time limit.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
  • Helping lead and inspire our kitchen staff with the restaurant manager.
  • Wowing our guests with amazing dishes.
