JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our growing team at our Dee Why store. You will be passionate about maintaining our extremely high level of product quality & service & excited to join a fast growing business.

YOU

  • Experience & keen interest with food preparation & French cuisine
  • Ability to work in a busy environment as part of a team & also unsupervised
  • Hard working, enthusiastic & with an ability to work under pressure  
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Available weekends & potential nights
  • Own transport or ability to get to work for early morning shifts.


ABOUT

  • Assist Chef with baking & preparing food & all kitchen related duties
  • Prepare & cook a variety of breakfasts, quiche, baguette sandwiches & salads
  • Baking of pastries and bread
  • Ensure great presentation of all meals is maintained
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines, stock rotation & follow all French Basket recipes, procedures & checklists

 

  • Long term position
  • 30-40 hrs p/wk
  • Must be available weekends & early mornings
