JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fish House in Moorabbin Airport is looking for its new Cook/Chef superstar. 

We are are a quality focused modern Seafood restaurant and Take Away/ Fresh Fish Shop.  We are looking to exceed customer expectations and serve food that is memorable.

 

Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Owners who are active in the business and working closely with the Venue Manager. 

You will have a passion for great local food and local Seafood and the Melbourne Dining and drinking scene.

 

 

 

 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Chef de Partie
Commis Chef
Sous chef
Cook

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The role you will:

Take ownership of the food you cook and ensure that quality, consistancy, and presentation standards are of the highest quality  and our standards are upheld.

Have a positive and inclusive attitude and good communication skills.  Ideally have experience working in busy fast paced restaurants and some management or leadership experience, although not essential we are happy to train the right person if necessary.

Must have a can do attitude and must be able to work in a tight but flexible kitchen enviroment. 

Must be a positive influence on the venue and with FOH Staff.

Must maintain OH&S standards and food safety Industry standards.
