Lovewell Café is a social enterprise of Lovewell Foundation, providing training and
employment opportunities for women who have experienced adversity. We are more

The Role:
As our Cook/Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-
quality meals that meet the high standards we uphold at Lovewell Café. You will play
a key role in the smooth and efficient running of our kitchen operations, working
independently and leading by example to ensure the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
 Prepare, cook, and present a range of meals in accordance with standard recipes.
 Coordinate food service and manage multiple orders at once.
 Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
 Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
 Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
 Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement.
 Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
 A qualified chef or experienced cook with 2+ years experience in a similar
setting.
 Someone who is patient and supportive who can help with the training and
development of less experienced staff.
 Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.

 Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
 Passion for empowering others and working in a team-oriented environment.

 Set hours each week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday only) occasional event/late night work by negotiation
