Wahlburgers is a global leader in fast-casual dining with over 90 locations worldwide. Founded in 2011 by the Wahlberg family; Chef Paul, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, the brand has a cult following across the United States.

From 2022, Wahlburgers is leaping into the restaurant scene across Australia and New Zealand and we’re now looking for the best and brightest to join our family and work at our Byron Bay restaurant.

Job functions and requirements include:

• Working together in a fun and relaxed fast-casual environment;
• Working across a variety of job functions including line cooking and general kitchen hand tasks;
• Ability to read and execute recipes successfully;
• Availability to work across a range of shifts including weekdays, weeknights and weekends;
• Help maintain professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards;
• Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards at all times, including handling chemicals safely;
• Ensure building, equipment, furniture and fixtures are in good repair, clean and maintained on a regular basis; and
• Understand and comply with:
  • All company policies, procedures and operating standards; and
  • All relevant federal/state/local laws and regulations.

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, including knife skills, is highly regarded but not essential, as we are willing to train our Team Members in all aspects of the Wahlburgers system.

• Attention to detail and analytical skills;
