JOB TITLE: Crew (Bar Staff)

LOCATION: Must be able to get to Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour (Accessable by Ferry Wharf)

HOURS: Mostly Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Average Shift is 4pm-11pm)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of role

To assist in creating a friendly, welcoming and fun atmosphere aboard Sydney Event Cruises' Vessel- The Supercat! -  Serving drinks and to support the bar and vessel manager.

Main duties and responsibilities

Core objectives include:

· Being polite, friendly and hospitable with all guests

· Demonstrating an excellent level of customer service

· Basic drinks preparation and serving

· Cleaning the bar area and boat decks 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

· RSA (essential)

· Min Year 12

PAY RATE

Marine Tourism and Charter Vessel Industry Award 2022 (ABOVE AWARD RATES) - Level 1 Crew 

Monday- Saturday $27 per hour 

Sunday - $28 per hour 

Experience

· Previous experience working in a customer facing role is desired

· Previous experience working in a fast paced food or drink based service role is desired

Knowledge

· Basic knowledge of alcoholic drinks – e.g.: varieties of wine, basic beer and mixed drinks knowledge- no cocktail mixing nessasary
