QT Melbourne is looking for a charismatic, welcoming and professional person to assist our security and management teams in managing the door to the hotel. It will be the responsibility of the door person to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our guests, to make judgement calls on guest access based on dress code, intoxication, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the security and management teams to ensure a smooth flow of guests, and a positive door experience
Make judgement calls about guest access based on dress code, intoxication, behaviour, etc.
Answer guest queries, and assist them in accessing the Food and Beverage outlets
Manage guest lists for exclusive functions
Assist in-house guests with hotel requirements, answering queries, providing reccomendations
Use ingenuity in creating a tailored experience
Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in a customer facing role
Minimum 1 year experience in a bar, restaurant, club, and/or hotel
A proven ability to effectively handle a large influx of guests with a calm disposition
A proven ability to provide individual guest experiences
