About The Olive Kitchen and Bar

Stunning Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in Titirangi, Auckland, overseeing the Waitakere Range, The Olive Kitchen and Bar is often busy with all-day a la carte service as well as special functions. The Restaurant is the go-to place for locals and those who are looking for the perfect venue for their special days such as weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. 

As the busy summer period is coming, The Olive Kitchen and Bar is looking for an experienced Front of House staff to take charge as our Duty Manager. 

About the role

The Olive Kitchen and Bar is looking for a full-time Duty Manager to be a key leader on the floor. You will be working a minimum of 40 hours a week on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. 

As the restaurant is located on a mountain road, Scenic Drive, you would preferably have your own reliable transportation. This role comes with a competitive rate and fantastic career growth opportunities. You will be provided with meals on shift and guaranteed lots of laughter in Olive's fun working environment.  

As training will be provided, you might be our perfect candidate if you have the drive and willingness to grow in hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality 
  • Current LCQ and/or Manager's Certificate is advantageous (We can support you to attain the Certificate if you are the right talent)
  • Hospitality qualification preferred
  • Professional appearance
  • Positive attitude
  • Punctual, reliable, and hard-working individual 
  • Ability to work well within a team
