 Located 30km west of Sydney, the Smithfield RSL Club is a large established entertainment venue built on a strong relationship with its Members and its local community.

 The Club has undergone a Modern Contemporary refurbishment, supporting an upgraded gaming room, ultramodern TAB & Sporting lounge, stunning Bar & lounge areas, and not to mention great restaurants & function facilities.

 Smithfield RSL is looking for a Full-time Duty Manager who can step up and join our team of Managers. This Duty Managers position is a hands-on role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our club and ensuring our high standards are delivered therefore our position is best suited for an entry-level Manager or experienced Supervisor with similar industry skills and experience. 

 Our Duty Managers Key responsibilities include;

• Managing the day-to-day operations of our club. 
• Lead, Manage and Mentor Operational staff.
• Ensuring our high service standards are provided across all facets of the club.   
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for members and guests
• Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements 
• Effective complaints handling and conflict resolution 
• Daily reconciliation of safe operations

To be considered for our Duty Managers position you will possess: 

• Experience preferably as a Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader
• Strong Operational knowledge and experience in Food, Bar & Gaming
• A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to succeed. 
• Proven Organisation and Time Management skills
• The ability to coach, lead and mentor a team. 
• You must have proven conflict resolution skills. 
• Excellent communication skills both Written & Verbal. 
• Your Presentation must be impeccable.
• A Passion for Hospitality & Service Excellence. 

 Our Duty Managers position is a full-time salaried position working a 7-day rotating roster. Smithfield RSL trades 365 days per year therefore the successful applicant will be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts which include days, nights, weekends, and Public Holidays.
