JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Venue Manager, we are currently seeking a Duty Manager who is focused on ensuring the day-to-day operations of our venue are run efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring the best service for our members and guests. You will be a passionate people leader and develop our staff, whilst maintaining excellent communication with our people and leaders. The position allows the freedom for creative input whilst implementing systems and processes and empowering the team.

Your Key Priorities will be to:

•    Daily operations of the venue including presentation, security, monetary control, food and beverage and customer service
•    Developing, maintaining and exceeding customer service standards
•    Complying with all venue legislation, policies and procedures, code of conduct and practice Responsible Service of Alcohol
•    To lead an effective team in delivering outstanding service on a consistent basis in line with our values 
•    Maintaining effective communication with all key stakeholders including operations manager, floor staff, chefs and management team 
•    Actively driving and supporting a range of Work, Health and Safety Compliance activities
•    Lead training and development between all staff

REQUIREMENTS

The Candidate:

•    Possess passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
•    Previous experience in successfully managing a hospitality operation, desirably within boutique venues
•    Outstanding behavioural and interpersonal skills
•    Effectively delegate to all staff
•    Highly organised with strong communication and personal skills
•    Experience in working under pressure in a fast environment 
•    Current RSA and RCG certifications
•    Flexibility and available to work a 7 day, rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
•    Relevant Diploma / Degree qualification is desirable
•    Double vaccinated against COVID-19
