About the role 

We are looking for a Duty Manager for Adina Apartments, Sydney Airport, With no two days being the same, you will work to lead, develop and mentor our front office teams whilst you oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel. 

We’re looking for someone who is independent, a customer focussed, and has previous experience handling hotel operations. 

What you will do 

  • Flexible to work different shifts.
  • Engaging attitude as a team player who can quickly build rapport with team members and guests.
  • Responsible for the leadership of the day and overnight operations of the hotel and supervision of all front office team members
  • Assist guests with special requests, general information, transportation, event tickets, restaurant, airline reservations, and any other reasonable requests as they arise.
  • You are passionate about hospitality, a fast learner, and tech-savvy​​​​​​
  • You should be a team player and be able to ''think on your feet''.
  • You should be able to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ensure that Front Office shifts are run efficiently, providing outstanding guest service, assisting all Front Office staff, and maintaining a calm, professional environment at all times.
  • Outstanding corporate presentation & communication skills in fluent English.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Duty Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

 We would love to hear from you if…

  • Love all things hospitality
  • Have previous experience in a similar role. Hotel, corporate apartments, short stay, etc
  • You are a humble individual who thrives on exceeding the guest's expectations through a genuine passion for the industry
  • Are proficient in using Microsoft Office. Knowledge of any PMS system would be an added advantage.
  • Have exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
  • Display great attention to detail
  • Be able to work in a high-pressure situation and handle them in a calm manner
  • Are customer focussed and well organized.
  • Have proven organizational and time management skills
