Full time Duty Manager/Bar Manager Position Available

The Civic Hotel is looking for a full time Duty Manager/Bar Manager to join our team. This is a FT Salary position.

The Civic is a well-known local pub on Beaufort Street, Inglewood, serving Modern Australian pub food and pizzas.  Being just 5 mins from Perth CBD, we have a large beer selection, wine list and more.  Being a local staple, we are a friendly, live and local music venue. 

Featuring our indoor bistro around our original fireplace, outdoor seating, pool tables, TAB, function room and two large band rooms, we are looking for someone to help take the venue to the next big stage!  The Civic also has accommodation catering to travellers, families, solo travellers or couples wanting a full night out. 

We require a Duty Manager/Bar Manager to complete our team, somebody who has a passion for wine, cocktails, overall bar service with staff training and can demonstrate excellent team leadership qualities.

This is a service-based role requiring daily customer service and ad hoc duties.

Candidates would demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager role (Opens / Closes / Shift management).

- Broad knowledge of spirits, beers and wines.

- FOH experience.

- High standard of personal presentation.

- Experience in a fast-paced pub style venue.
