JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be able to turn on a dime in this fresh food business, you will come to us with some experience but are not wholly seasoned – you are keen to get into a brand where you can cut your teeth and make a name for yourself!  You are passionate about food, people, and lifestyles - that’s what makes you tick. Position Overview:

As our Ecommerce and Social Media Manager you will work in a dynamic food environment, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence, drive business growth and build our brand. You will be responsible for managing our ecommerce platform to drive catering sales and home delivery, optimizing user experience, and creating and executing effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with our customers.

Ecommerce:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce website.
  • Monitor and optimize product listings, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Implement strategies to improve website traffic, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure a compelling online shopping experience.
  • Analyse ecommerce performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.

Social Media:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tic Tok etc.).
  • Create engaging content, including posts, stories, and videos, that resonate with our target audience.
  • Build and nurture a strong online community, fostering customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Implement paid advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.

Customer Engagement:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media promptly and professionally.
  • Implement customer feedback and suggestions to improve our products and services.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage with our customer base.
  • Monitor online reviews and ratings, addressing any issues or concerns effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

What you should have to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Some proven experience in ecommerce management and social media marketing
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Foodstorm) and social media tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eye for detail, photography, and graphic skills
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
