JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity exists for an Event Coordinator to join the dedicated and welcoming team at San Remo Ballroom, located in Carlton North, VIC.

About You

We are ideally searching for someone who displays:

  • Event industry experience – preferred, but not required
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail 
  • An admin whiz
  • Fantastic communication and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to efficiently multitask
  • Sound food and beverage knowledge

 

About the Role

As our newest addition to the team in this Event Coordinator role, your duties will include: 

  • Identifying clients' requirements and expectations
  • Liaising with the client's vendors and other stakeholders during the event planning process
  • Up-selling and securing package inclusions with SRB industry partners
  • Creating, managing, and updating event orders
  • Identifying and following trends in the events industry
  • Availability for a Tuesday-Saturday work week
