JOB DESCRIPTION

Nestled in the rolling hills of Warrandyte, Victoria, Pietro Gallus Estate proudly celebrates the sweet life through the creation of fresh produce, extraordinary dishes, estate wines, grappa and liqueurs. We pride ourselves on creating memorable events for customers amongst our 20-acre estate. 

We are looking for a talented, motivated and reliable Event Manager to lead the sales and operations of our functions. We want someone to join our thriving team who has a can do attitude, excellent communication skills and a passion for events. 

This is a full-time position. Five day working week, including weekends. 

Salary: $70,000-$75,000 plus superannuation

Duties involve:

  • promoting events to potential customers
  • meeting KPI's around monthly event targets 
  • responding to enquiries concerning services provided and costs
  • meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outlining package options to meet these needs
  • arranging and coordinating services in the organisation of various events such as birthdays, weddings, cocktail functions
  • organising registration of participants
  • negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget;
  • reporting on variations to work orders

REQUIREMENTS

Skill Requirement: 

  • Advanced Diploma or Diploma qualification plus one year of full-time post-qualification experience in the relevant position OR at least two years experience in the relevant position.
  • Hold a current RSA Certificate
  • Hold a current working VISA
