JOB DESCRIPTION

MIRRA Events, a renowned event venue, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As an Event Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of various events under our company's banner. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee event operations and ensure smooth execution from setup to packdown
  • Coordinate with event staff, vendors, and clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Provide guidance and direction to event staff, including bar staff, caterers and vendors
  • Ensure adherence to event timelines, schedules, and safety protocols
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events and make necessary adjustments
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain event quality and address any potential concerns
  • Collaborate with the event management team to develop innovative event concepts and ideas
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and promptly address any client inquiries or concerns

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Event Coordinator
Food & Beverage Supervisor

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The right applicant must have the following:

  • Previous experience in event supervisor or event coordination roles is preferred
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide event staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
  • Problem-solving skills and time management skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet in high-pressure situations
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure event execution meets the highest standards
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as events may require
  • Passion for delivering exceptional event experiences to clients and attendees
