Cronulla RSL Memorial Club is a successful and progressive registered club situated in southern Sydney. The Club aims to consistently provide, at the highest standard, a range of recreational and social amenities that are attractive, enjoyable, and relevant to our members in a safe and friendly environment, located right on the beach at Cronulla.

The Club has its own Event Centre, Soldiers on the Esplanade, and is proud to announce we have partnered with Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club as their provider of events. Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club is rich in history and has undergone an extensive renovation.

As the largest beachfront venue in the area, the Club has an array of multipurpose spaces with the largest room configuration accommodating up to 300 guests, enjoying expansive views beyond the Esplanade and out across the waves of Cronulla beach.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced enthusiastic and committed Events Operation Supervisor to successfully execute events at Cronulla RSL and Cronulla Surf Club.

This position is extremely important to the club as you will be part of a team that creates amazing customer experiences and memories for our clients.

About you…….

You will be able to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holiday & evening shifts as required by the business. You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a leadership role. Your extensive knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures will be second to none and your bright, friendly personality will shine through to create memorable customer experiences. Your eye for detail and finesse will ensure that you go above and beyond in your role. Developing the team around you to ensure this standard is delivered will be your passion as your interpersonal skills are outstanding.

Your role:

• Taking responsibility for external or internal customer satisfaction by anticipating their needs, consistently delivering outstanding service and solutions, and exceeding their expectations.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and ambiguity; accepting new ideas and change initiatives and provide solutions to problems.
• Upholding quality service standards by providing effective hands-on leadership and direction.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintaining cost effective financial performance and superior shift management
• Providing professional and efficient service with attention to detail
• Administration and function shift reporting
• Setup and pack down of events
• Ensure and maintain a safe work environment
• Creating “memories for a lifetime” by delivering on our event service standards.
