About Smokin Joes - 

We are a small café in Everton Park established in 2014. 

We have amazing customers who enjoy our service 7 days a week from 5am. We are known for our exceptional coffee (we do up to 95kg per week), great food and super fast service.

Our team hasn’t changed for 3 years so we are looking for someone who wants a long term role. A barista who is energetic, flexible, personable and happy with proven experience in a similar food and beverage role.

The ideal candidate will be customer centric, hardworking, creative and have excellent communication skills. Someone who is willing to show their personality and take an interest in our customers lives.

Job Type: EXPERIENCED BARISTAS ONLY 

36 to 40 hours per week 

Shop opening hours are 5am - 1.30pm 7 days a week

Wages:

You should expect to earn 55K to 60K per year

$29.40 Monday to Friday

$35.30 Saturday

$41.00 Sunday 

$58.50 Public Holidays

Roles & Responsibilities - Due to business requirementa AUS RESIDENTS/ CITIZENS ONLY 

• Pre-service preparation
• Preparation of all ingredients
• Preparing all menu items (basic cafe-style food)
• Barista work
• Providing suggestions for menu improvement and changes
• Safe food handling
• Responsible for ensuring the cafe is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Assume some responsibility of some cafe duties, such as compliance
• Consistently prepare quality products within the cafe

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Barista
• Back of house experience in food retail/or a café
• Food preparation and presentation experience
• Food Safety Supervisor certification
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
