JOB DESCRIPTION

EXPERIENCED BARTENDERS & SECTION WAITERS

Banc Brasserie & Wine Bar is seeking experienced and passionate Front of House staff to assist our management team in the day-to-day running and operations of our busy CBD restaurant.

Banc Brasserie & Wine Bar is a fast-paced, upmarket eatery showcasing European style cooking and simplistic cuisine. Located in a beautiful heritage building at the top end of Queen St Mall, we are open for lunch and dinner service Monday to Friday and dinner on Saturday. Closed Sunday, public holidays and throughout the Christmas/New Year break.

We are looking for driven and confident waitstaff and cocktail bartenders for our lunch services with hours from 11am - 6pm Monday - Friday, with the opportunity to boost hours with function shifts througout the week/weekends during the holiday period.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

 Requirements: 

  • 1-2 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experience running a section with position numbers
  • A good attitude and eagerness to engage with guests, offering suggestions to our evolving menu
  • Wine and cocktail knowledge is a big advantage but we’re happy to teach with ongoing tastings and training sessions organised monthly
  • Positive communication skills, energy and attitude towards guests and your team
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced venue
  • Be reliable
