I am over 18We are on the hunt for experienced Chefs for our Stilts venue in Brisbane.
Tassis Group venues include Massimo Bar and Restaurant, Opa Bar & Mezze, Yamas Greek and Drink, Fosh, Rich and Rare , Longwang, Fatcow, Pompette and Dark Shepherd at the Casino, Stilts and Mulga Bills at the Green Bridge and soon to open Aunty on Wandoo St. Restaurants include the cuisines of Australian Steakhouse, seafood, Greek cuisine, Italian cuisine, and Latin cuisine. Our company aims to provide the ultimate experience for our customers with fantastic service and outstanding food and drinks.
Qualifications & experience
Must have full working rights in Australia
Can do attitude with willingness to learn
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
About the CHEF role
Full time, part time & casual positions available
Flexible availability over a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
Ability to run a section
Impos is POS system used
Skills and experience:
Certificate IV (or equivalent) or completed apprenticeship or two years full time relevant work experience in a similar role
Or currently studying and eager to learn
Can do attitude with willingness to learn
Previous grill experience preferred
Previous a la carte experience advantage but not necessary
A true passion for food, hospitality and people
Exceptional organisational skills - you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in your ability to take charge, able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
A great work ethic and a team player
