Located in Woolloomooloo, Viand is a small and celebrated restaurant known for delivering a highly personal tasting-menu experience. With just 45 seats and a dedicated private dining room, our service style is focused, detailed and warm. We’re looking for talented floor staff who value professionalism, genuine hospitality and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for running your own section, delivering confident, polished table service and creating memorable guest experiences. This is an opportunity to work closely with a tight, passionate team in a restaurant that values quality, growth and balance.

We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years’ recent restaurant experience at a similar level
  • Strong service fundamentals, including carrying three plates
  • A positive, energetic and guest-focused approach
  • Wine and cocktail knowledge (or a willingness to learn)
  • Experience with Lightspeed POS or NBI reservations is a bonus
  • Current NSW RSA + Australian working rights

REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must have 2+ years of up-to-date experience in a comparable restaurant, with strong, well-rounded floor skills
  • Ability to confidently run a busy section
  • Strong table service skills (including carrying three plates)
  • Personable, professional communication with guests
  • Smart dress attire and professional apprearence
  • Wine knowledge is a bonus but not essential
  • Current NSW RSA is required
  • Australian Working Rights
