JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Chef, your duties will involve:

  • A strong passion food cooking & attention to detail is a must
  • All aspects of food preparation & service on shift 
  • Provide quality food & service is provided at the highest of standards
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and HACCP guidelines are met and adhered to at all times
  • Liaise with suppliers & stakeholders to ensure the smooth day to day running of our camp
  • Work alongside our clients while ensuring a safe and friendly camp environment
  • Team player with high standards in terms of food quality, presentation and able to communicate well with our other staff and crews on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications & Documents:

  • Nationally recognised Trade qualifications with minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australian)
  • A National Police Clearance valid within 6 months
  • Full, valid manual drivers’ license 

Desirable Qualifications & Documents:

Please note, applicants without the following must be willing to undertake paid training to obtain the qualifications as part of the onboarding process:

  • Current valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current – RIIVEH201 & RIIVEH305 4WD certificates
  • ISI or DCGI Induction
  • Any related Rig inductions you may hold 

All successful candidates must also be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
