We are looking for a dynamic individual to help support and lead from the front as a Strong Supervisor in the Food and Beverage department ,we would love to hear from you.

Job description 

  • Provide and supervise prompt, efficient, courteous service to all guests per the established service standards / guidelines for each of the Food & Beverage Service area
  • Assist the Food & Beverage Management and Executive Chef organise special event and celebrations to showcase activities, cuisines and wines and ensuring timely communication to regular guests and patrons.
  • The accurate and timely recording of all Food & Beverage Orders / Sales and the consequent raising of appropriate cheques
  • Monitor and drive sales incentive / up selling programs, with appropriate recommendations to the Food & Beverage Management
  • Monitor par stock levels, storage conditions, breakages and pilferage, shortages,discounts, discards, gratis and other similar expense heads, highlighting issues to the Food& Beverage Manager
  • Accurately maintain and follow Department Log Book and any other documented records.
  • Report all accidents / injuries per Incident Report format to the Duty Manager or concerned authority
  • Manage and lead your team in a busy Restaurant environment
  • Assist with on-the-job training and supervision to new team members
  • Assist to maintain professional decorum and discipline within the Team
  • Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed with teams’ working hours accurately recorded

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

You will possess:

 

  • MINIMUM 2 years' experience in leading a team in a busy bar and Restaurant environment
  • Impeccable presentation, both personal and quality of service/product
  • Passionate about a career in hospitality
  • Creativity, resilience and a focus on a memorable customer experience
  • Must have RSA
  • Coffee skills
  • Leadership experience 
  • customer service skills
  • Functions & Events experience
  • Confidently takes order and use POS systems
  • Make recommendations to the guests for wine pairing
  • Available to work rotating roster all service shifts
  • Valid work visa
