About this opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Attendant, to join our professional team in Trattoria Amici Italian Restaurant. Responsibilities include greeting customers, presenting menu, providing detailed menu knowledge & explanation, taking orders, communicate with the kitchen, food & beverage table service, set up & clearing of tables, interacting with guests and asking for feedback, reconcile check/bill and provide a polished high standard of customer service to our guests with a friendly, positive and helpful approach.

We’re looking for

• Availability & flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster, weekdays, nights, weekends & public holidays.
• Table service experience essential as a food and beverage attendant in an a la carte restaurant, fine dining, hotel/resort or similar environment
• Passion for the hospitality industry & a desire to deliver 5 star service
• Excellent communication skills & ability to interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner
• Experienced and ability to carry & serve 3 plates of food and a tray of drinks for table service 
• Basic beverage knowledge of beer, wine, spirits & cocktails
• POS & Eftpos experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Work well in a team environment & follow direction
• Current QLD RSA Certificate
• Excellent personal presentation
• Full working rights in Australia
