The Aveo Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant/Wait staff to work within a supportive team and provide great service at our newly opened restaurant at our Aveo Newstead Community. As a Food & Beverage Attendant/Wait staff working in our Aveo Newstead Community, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents. This is a Part-time position with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service. You'll be a great communicator and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment.

About the role

• This is a Part-Time role with shifts Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 11:00 - 21:00 and Friday 11:00 - 14:30
• Must be able to navigate a restaurant with ease carrying food and beverages
• Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents
• Have an excellent service manner greeting customers, presenting menus and staying attentive to the guests needs
• Understand how to assess guests needs, present tables correctly and offer recommendations when asked.
• To undertake general front of house duties ensuring smooth operation whilst on shift. 
• To follow the correct food safety standards at all times.
• Assist as and when required with the back house operations.
• Work as a team with all kitchen staff to ensure a successful service.

• Have excellent communication skills and be able to take direction
• Have a well-developed sense of responsibility and ready to step up to the next level in service
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Be willing to learn and take a keen interest in the position and those you are serving.
• Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
