The Role:
You are responsible for providing great food & beverage service to all our guests across a variety of outlets. During your shift you will ensure that the restaurants and bars are clean, tidy, have a great atmosphere and that all food & beverage products you serve are of the best quality possible. Your friendly, welcoming and efficient manner will ensure we keep our promise to our guests of friendly and helpful service throughout the hotels.
Core Responsibilities:
▪ Follow policies and procedures outlined in the Erdi/Accor Brand Standards Manual, Departmental Service Standards / Procedures Manual and Accor Policy Manuals.
▪ Treat complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially.
▪ Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
▪ Carry out all tasks in line with hotel procedures, standards and product specifications.
▪ Check your daily work sheet at the start of each shift for important messages and record relevant information on your work sheet during your shift.
▪ Collect and sign keys and float in and out at the start and end of each shift.
▪ Advise supervisors / managers of guest’s special needs and communicate them with other team members.
▪ Ensure I.T guidelines and processes are followed when dealing with guest complaints or issues and ensure these are logged and passed on to the appropriate department.
▪ Assist guests with general enquiries and directions and be able to answer all enquiries in a knowledgeable manner.
▪ Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls within a timely manner.
