We are currently taking applications for Food & Beverage Attendants wanting to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that the first and last impression is enthusiastic and professional. The ideal candidate will be fast, reliable, engaging and ensure that our guests receive optimum service every time. In addition, we are looking for people who love using their initiative, think outside the box and go the extra mile to ensure we thrill our guests.

Nineteen - Perched atop of The Star’s shining new luxury suite hotel The Darling, this amazing venue promises to be Queensland’s premier dining destination, offering guests a truly unique dining experience, lavish bar and gravity-defying infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Events – Our Events team are responsible for the execution of awe inspiring conferences and events held across various locations over the property, where no two days are ever the same.

Cherry Bar – A sumptuous setting with designer drinks and a signature seasonal cocktail menu crafted by The Star’s highly-talented team of mixologists. The epitome of sophistication and luxe, Cherry features a lavish 22 metre bar in the heart of the action.

Atrium Bar- Offering a variety of atmospheres for our guests, whether it's a quiet beer to enjoy the live entertainment, cocktails and a wild night out with friends or the casual wine drinkers that just want to put their feet up and enjoy the commotions.

Sports Bar- With an extensive range of imported and local beers, wines and spirits as well as over 10 large TVs and TAB facilities the bartenders here never miss a minute of the action.

Premium Gaming Rooms - Within the Private Gaming Rooms, you'll offer the professionalism and food & beverage service that simply can't be found anywhere else on the coast to ensure our VIP guests are entertained, catered for and will keep coming back because of your service.

Mei Wei Dumplings – It’s hard to beat the humble dumpling, so many explosive flavours in such small packages! Thanks to our open kitchen, you can watch the team work their magic before your eyes.

M&G Café and Bar – For a quick breakfast bit, light lunch or laid-back dinner, you can’t go past M&G Café and Bar. Open early until late, the coffee machine is always brewing. Open daily from 6.00am till late.

Garden Kitchen & Bar - Blurring the lines between indoors and out, Garden Kitchen & Bar gives a mix of contemporary furnishings and cascading greenery to offer a trendy and friendly atmosphere that any F&B attendant would happily boast about.

Kiyomi – With a modern, yet authentic Japanese menu, you will quickly see why Kiyomi has earned its reputation as one of the Gold Coast’s most talked about restaurants, not to mention a prestigious Chef’s Hat award! Priding it's self on impeccable customer service, open for dinner only from Monday to Saturday.

In Room Dining - Servicing our Hotel guests our In Room Dining Team works around the clock to deliver tasty and timely meals to our in-house guests who just want to sit back in their room and enjoy the personal service that you'll deliver to their door.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a fast paced hospitality environment (advantageous)
• Bar experience with a sound knowledge of beverage products and the ability to multitask and showcase your amazing skills behind the bar (highly regarded)
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional and friendly customer service, with the ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible availability with weekends essential
• Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment
• Most importantly you have to be passionate about the industry and strive to deliver 5 star service every time!
