The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role withing the hospitality industry.
They must have the drive and passion for hospitality and strive to provide the best customer experience to all our patrons and members who dine at the club.
The ideal person must be available to work varying shifts including weekdays, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Your responsibilities as a food and beverage supervisor will include helping formulate and coordinate bookings using an online reservation system where booking size can vary from 2 people to 30 people.
Assisting the Restaurant Manager in operations and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Helping maintain good relationships with staff and building great team morale.
Allocating sections to staff in service time and controlling the floor to ensure full customer satisfaction.
To be able to communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure food comes out in a timely manner.
Bar skills are required such as beer pouring, basic cocktail making and wine pouring.
At the end of a shift, you will also be responsible to pack down and close the restaurant which will include counting tills to ensure that they balance and locking the venue.
The venue also has a large function space where you may be required to work.
If needed, you will assist the functions and event manager in the lead up to and event by helping with set up requirements and on the day of the event to ensure that our clients receive the best service possible and everyone leave with a smile on their face.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
