We are looking for a Full Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Team at Belle Époque Patisserie.

The Role 

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the cafe, using strong people skills and a hands-on approach to lead the team. By embodying our core value, The Guest is Everything, your focus is on delivering 'total customer satisfaction' through seamless food and beverage service.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Belle Époque Outlet Manager, taking responsibility for the successful operation of the patisserie

  • Supervise the Belle Époque Team, providing on-the-job training, coaching and support

  • Liaise with the Food & Beverage Management Team and Kitchen Team, ensuring effective communication and relationships are established and maintained;

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations with Purpose and Action to consistently exceed guest expectations

  • Be flexible to customer demands and have the ability to adapt effortlessly to last-minute changes or requests

  • Embody an ownership mindset with a genuine desire to drive and implement new revenue initiatives.

  • Maintain open, respectful communication with Team Members & other hotel departments, ensuring all relevant information is shared

  • Take responsibility for guest feedback and complaints, ensuring all issues are handled with empathy and professionalism

  • Ensure accurate operation of the Point-of-Sale System

  • Create enriching experiences for our guests by ensuring they are welcomed and served in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner

  • Maintain and assist with inventory control & stock takes

  • Practise, monitor, and demonstrate awareness of WH&S policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

About you 

  • Experience in a busy restaurant or café environment at a Supervisory or Team Leader level;

  • A passion for Food & Beverage and the desire to work in a five-star hotel environment;

  • Excellent personal presentation;

  • Organised and proactive, with a focus on adding value to the team.

  • Consistently take Pride in detail and proven ability to maintain Grace under pressure  

  • The ability to work a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends (38 hours a week);

  • Strong communication skills and highly developed organisational skills;

  • The ability to think on your feet and a solution focused approach to problem solving;

  • A willingness to go above and beyond to deliver Exquisite Experiences for our guests, every time, every shift!

  • A current RSA;

  • Eligibility to work in Australia;
