JOB DESCRIPTION

In 2014, two fine dining chefs and a maître d opened the doors to Belles Hot Chicken in a cosy Fitzroy diner. Part hot chicken joint, part wine bar, part block party, Belles is an industry game-changer and has grown to be the gold standard in not just hot chicken, but our approach to hospitality and good times.

Fast forward to 2023 and we now have 5 restaurants in two different states, a kickass popup venue in Docklands and eyes on locations in other states for the near future. 

We’re recruiting for a Front of House Manager to join the Belles family and lead shifts at our busy Elizabeth Street restaurant!

You’ll be reporting to, supported by and working closely with a passionate and a hands-on General Manager.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring our front of house team!
  • Writing FOH rosters and approving daily timesheets
  • Ordering of FOH stock and managing stock allocations
  • Completing weekly FOH stocktakes
  • Opening & Closing of the restaurant - on rotation with the Duty Managers
  • Implementing and maintaining brand standards and venue policies and procedures 
  • Supporting the General Manager to keep the ship super tight and fun for all our guests and team!

In terms of experience:

  • Outstanding customer service skills - you genuinely love people!
  • Exceptional time management
  • Attention to detail and presentation
  • Previous experience in writing rosters to budget 
  • Previous experience in ordering stock to par-levels
