• Preparing, cooking, and plating the breakfast and lunch menu

• Ordering and stock control

Cook Job Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a commercial kitchen or café environment

• Experience with breakfast and lunch service (à la carte and short-order cooking)

• Understanding of Asian, Mediterranean, or modern Australian flavours (preferred)

• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in presentation and taste

• Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques 

• Knowledge of food safety, storage, and hygiene standards (HACCP)

• Time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
