JOB DESCRIPTION

Camden Valley Inn boasts a memorable family-friendly atmosphere in our multitude of spaces including a large alfresco dining precinct, multiple bars, dedicated conference and wedding function space, pizzeria, children's sanctuary complemented by our 4-star accommodation facilities.

Our ideal candidate will be a well presented, with experience selling, coordinating, and executing private events. We are after people who share a passion for helping our customers celebrate their events.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales and Coordination

  • Manage the function lifecycle from enquiry to event execution
  • Provide accurate and timely reports and forecasting as required
  • Oversee and effectively roster staff in line with labour budgets

Operational

  • Lead, manage and drive operational staff in the execution and delivery of events on the day
  • Ensure adherence to event run times
  • Handle customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner

This role is 50% administrative (sales and coordination) and 50% operational (execution of the event on the day).

You can work under pressure and oversee multiple events at any one time.

We can offer a part-time/full-time flexible working arrangement provided you are available to work nights and weekends to oversee the events.
