Blacktown Tavern has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Gaming Attendant at this sophisticated and modern designed establishment, which incorporates top quality fixtures and fittings in a beautifully presented setting. Blacktown Tavern offers an exceptional menu, offers outstanding quality food, full suite of beverage choices, entertainment, accommodation and promotional activities.  

As a Gaming Attendant, you will focus on providing superior customer service to all patrons in the Gaming Room. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and customer focused individual to come and join our team of professionals. The right candidate must have a strong passion for providing patrons with the best hotel experience and maintaining our top customer service reputation.

Your overall responsibility is to consistently execute and deliver top customer service, adhering to the Company's high standards. Your ability to work both independently and in a team environment, possess excellent grooming and presentation, as well as having great communication skills and a passion for exceeding customers expectations.

Skills and experience
The successful candidates will have the following:

  • Proven experience in the customer service industry.
  • Display a permanent and consistent focus on service and customer experience.
  • Must be able to carry out Gaming Attendant and cashiering duties, whilst following gaming procedures.
  • TAB, Keno and Poker Machine operational experience essential
  • Will hold relevant certificates RSA, RCG and ARCG
  • Has a reliable, honest and positive attitude and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, whilst working as a team player.
  • The right candidate must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented, well groomed at all times and have a warm and friendly smile.
  • Committed, trustworthy and responsible individuals are what we are looking for.  The candidate must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this.
  • Can start immediately.
