JOB DESCRIPTION

In 2022 Vista Hospitality Group opened two new hotels in Brisbane CBD. The first to open was voco™ Brisbane City Centre which offers 194 guest rooms, 11 meetings rooms, 2 F&B outlets, a Fitness Centre & Rooftop Pool. Soon to follow was the Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre with 212-rooms and the incredible new Izakaya Publico Restaurant and Bar 1603. 

The new hotels are managed and operated by Vista Hospitality Group a new business within the Australasian hospitality sector, that offers a suite of resources and operational advantages, uniquely tailored for owners and partners.

Vista Hospitality Group is a trusted partner to global hotel brands including voco, Hotel Indigo, The Sebel as well as managing their own brands including: Next Hotels, Ink Hotels, Sage Hotels and Country Comfort.

REQUIREMENTS

What You'll Do 

As a Front Office Guest Service Agent you will help shape the ongoing success of Brisbane's first voco Hotel in creating an exciting, innovative, and memorable hotel experience for all guests working with a well-rounded and highly motivated Front Office team.  

*** Part Time, Full Time and Casual opportunities available***

  • You will have previous front office / reception / reservations hands-on customer service experience within a Hospitality or similar service environment.
  • You will assist with welcoming & fare welling guests.
  • Manage the check in / out process (and everything in between).
  • Assist with guest inquiries (face-to-face, telephone and email).
  • Provide information on local activities, events etc.
  • Assist other departments as required.
  • Professional and personable, with a "roll up the sleeves", can do attitude.
  • You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & phone skills.

 What You Bring  

  • You have a passion for all things hospitality and love making genuine human connections.
  • Desirable: previous experience using Opera system.
  • Tech savvy - ability to learn and use new systems! 
  • You have a high energy level and a passion for achieving superior results.
  • You are detail oriented and able to effectively multitask with great communication skills.
  • You thrive under pressure and are flexible when adapting to new situations.
  • You take pride in personal presentation.
  •  Flexibility to work on a 7 days a week rotating roster including public holidays.
  • You have a passion to develop your hospitality career.
