JOB DESCRIPTION

Based at Adelaide Airport, we are looking for Head Chef at our brand new outlet Penfolds bar and Kitchen. As a brand new outlet we will be looking at you to provide leadership and ooze passion in developing a must visit destination.

Flying should feel good. Since 2009, Emirates Leisure Retail has been focused on changing the way food & beverage offerings are presented in airports.  

With over 90 Hudsons Coffee outlets and 17 Bars / Restaurants in our portfolio (and expanding!!) we take pride in developing our teams and taking a journey together to grow our business and ourselves! Our teams have a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry both locally and globally.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Being the champion for ELRA's vision & values.
  • Providing leadership, training and support to the entire kitchen and front of house team
  • Responsibility for ordering and stock management controls 
  • Rostering in conjunction with outlet manager and company targets
  • Menu development in line with company and outlet vision
  • Standard 38 hour roster across a Sunday to Friday operation (Sunday shifts are negotiable)
  • Consistently creating unrivalled customer experiences.
  • Serve our valued customers with enthusiasm
  • All whilst following ELRA policies, guidelines and procedures.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Head Chef

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

What You'll Need;

  • Experience in a similar position will be highly regarded but not essential, if you can demonstrate your experience as senior chef looking to take the next step in their career it will be looked on favourably
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • A passion for great customer service!
  • A focus on continuous improvement & exceeding customers' expectations every time to create loyal customer
  • A keen focus on processes and compliance & ensuring quality every time!
  • Energy, positivity & resilience with a keen focus on motivating others
  • Target orientated and career driven with the passion and abilities to be successful
