JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Team Leader - exceptional communication skills and priority for team work and willingness to upskill team members and maintain an exceptional consistent standard for meals.
  • Ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Willingness for change, keeping above the trend, dynamic in menu ideas teaming with the bar and cafe.
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service in a busy AHA award winning kitchen Steaks and burgers a specialty * Kitchen prep * Cleaning of kitchen and prep area * Dishes * Events, catering at races and local venues * Putting away orders, checking off deliveries maintaining stock rotation.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Head Chef

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • at minimum, to have completed one of these qualifications Chef – Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery
  • knowledge of food production methods.
  • leadership skills.
  • to be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • the ability to monitor your own performance and that of your colleagues.
  • the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
  • the ability to organise your time and workload
