JOB DESCRIPTION

Catering HQ is seeking an exceptional Head Chef and Sous Chef to join our talented and passionate team.

Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 9 fabulous venues across Sydney, Blue Mountains and Central Coast with new venues opening in coming months.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills 
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning
  • Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
  • Ability to contribute to menu planning
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming
  • Ability to handle large service numbers
  • Exceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
  • Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
  • Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
  • Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming
  • Should be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions
